My payment did not go through.
The charge itself does not happen on our site. We hand you to Stripe’s own checkout page, and the decision to accept or decline the card is made there, between Stripe and your card issuer. We never see your card number, and we cannot approve a payment that your issuer turned down.
If you closed the checkout page or backed out, nothing was charged and nothing is half-finished. You can start again from pricing and pick up where you left off.
If the card was declined, the specific reason sits with your bank or card issuer, and Stripe shows what it is allowed to show. A different card, or a call to your issuer, resolves most of these faster than we can.
If money did leave your account and something still looks wrong, that is ours to sort out. Email us from the address on the account and say what you were buying and roughly when.
Back to pricing →How do I connect my payments, and what happens if it fails?
There are two paths and you only need one. The first is a single approval through Stripe itself: you press connect, Stripe shows you exactly what Cerqular is asking for, you approve it there, and Stripe sends you back. You never make or paste a key.
The second exists for people who would rather hand over something narrower. In Stripe, go to Developers, then API keys, then create a restricted key with read access to Charges, Customers, Subscriptions and Products, and paste it into the panel. It is entered in a password field, it is never shown back to you, never written to a log, and never placed in a web address.
If the one-press path fails, the panel opens the paste-a-key path for you and names the reason. A failure that comes from our side names the specific piece of configuration that is missing rather than showing you a generic error, because an outage you can describe to us is one we can fix faster. If your sign-in has simply expired, it asks you to sign in again.
If both paths fail, that is worth an email. It means something on our side is broken, and we would rather hear it from you than find it later.
How your data is handled →What exactly can Cerqular see and do with my Stripe account?
Cerqular reads your Stripe sales data and creates nothing on your account. The trackable link is your own checkout link with a reference added to the end of it, which needs no permission to write anything.
It reads. Your payments, your customers, your subscriptions and your products, which is what makes it possible to tie a specific dollar back to the thing that earned it.
You hold the off switch, and it does not go through us. Remove the app or delete the key you made in your own Stripe dashboard and our access ends immediately, with no action needed from us and no waiting on a request.
The full data-handling page →Why has nothing appeared in my account yet?
Almost always because no revenue source is connected yet. Cerqular computes everything from your own data and refuses to show you a filled-in dashboard built from someone else’s numbers, so before you connect something there is genuinely nothing true to show.
If you have connected and it still looks empty, the usual reason is that a Measured figure only exists once a real transaction has closed and been attributed to something. Until then you will see work and projections, correctly labelled, and no Measured dollar.
The other reason is that nothing runs on its own. Cerqular prepares the work and waits for you to approve it. If nothing has been approved yet, nothing has gone out, so nothing has come back.
If you are connected, have approved work, and a week later still see nothing, that is not a normal empty state. Email us with your account address and we will look at your specific account.
What the labels mean →How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?
Cancel from Settings. The button opens the Stripe billing portal against your own billing record, so cancelling is something you do directly rather than something you ask us for. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
We do not refund partial months except where the law requires it. If we got something badly wrong, write to us anyway.
Cancelling stops the billing. It does not by itself delete your data. To have your data removed, email privacy@cerqular.ai and ask. We verify it is you, then clear your account data within 30 days. You can also ask that address for a copy of your data in a portable format.
If Settings tells you there is no billing account on record, or the portal will not open, email us and we will handle the cancellation directly. You should never be stuck paying because a button did not work.
Your data rights in full →I approved something and nothing was sent. What now?
That is usually a guard doing its job, and it will have told you which one. Cerqular refuses a send rather than risking your sending reputation or a customer complaint, and it names the reason every time.
The reasons it refuses are specific: the buyer never accepted marketing from you, or actively declined it; the sending address is not on a domain you have verified inside your own email provider; that exact item has already gone out once, so a second tap will not send it twice; you have reached your send cap for the day; the draft still has unfilled slots or no subject line; or sending is switched off at the server, in which case nothing reached your provider at all and your draft is untouched.
In every one of those cases nothing was sent and nothing was lost. Your draft is still there. Fix the named cause and approve it again.
If you got no reason at all, or the reason does not match what you are seeing, that is a real defect. Send us the message and roughly when you approved it.
First check which kind of figure it is, because two of the three are not supposed to match your bank. A Measured figure is a real dollar that moved on an account you own, tied to the exact thing that earned it. Estimated and Modeled are projections, and they will differ from what actually happens. That is not an error; it is the labelling working.
If a Measured figure is wrong, that matters and we want to hear it. Measured means we claimed a specific transaction was attributable to a specific piece of work, and if that link is wrong then our central promise is wrong for you.
Before writing in, it is worth checking that the period you are looking at is the period you think it is, and that every revenue source you expected is actually connected. A figure that looks too low is very often one connected account short.
We cannot tell from this page which of those it is for your account. Email us the figure, the date range it covers, and what you expected instead, and we will trace it.
What the labels mean →What do Measured, Estimated and Modeled actually mean?
Measured. A real dollar that actually moved on an account you own, tied to the exact asset that earned it. Never a projection.
Estimated. What an asset is projected to earn before a real sale confirms it. An honest forecast, labeled as one, never counted as revenue.
Modeled. A number from a model, not yet from your data. It stays labeled Modeled until a real transaction moves it to Measured.
The labels are the point, not decoration. Results vary and we promise no revenue outcome, so a projection that has not been confirmed by a real transaction must never be read as a commitment. If a number is not labelled Measured, no money has moved.
